Ellis Hobbs, 27, dreamed himself as a player for American Football team. And today the dream came true and Ellis became, what he wanted to be ever since. Born in Niagara Falls, New York , Ellis established himself as a Cornerback or kickoff returner in Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League. He was drafted by New England Patriots And last year he became the 11th Cyclone to play in a Super Bowl. Ellis, a famous football player, having a loving family and making $2.5 million a year at the age of 27, What more could he want?
In his tenure, 209 tackles, two sacks, three fumble recoveries, two forced fumbles and 29 pass deflections are listed, not only this, Playing as a kick returners also, Hobbs got success, gained 490 yards on 24 career kick returns till date. In 2005-06 season, although Hobbs played for limited time but he contributed much in a ratio. Initially Hobbs won the starting cornerback job in 2006, but he struggled in the second part, with his broken wrist. He lost his job as starter. For the season, he recorded 47 total tackles, 2 interceptions and 4 passes defensed. In 2006, Hobbs performance improved and he settled some other stones as a football player. In this stage of career Hobbs had some controversial issues with NFL. But in 2007, Hobbs broke the record for the longest kickoff return in NFL history. At the time, it also tied the record for the longest play in NFL history.
In his six years of experience Ellis, achieved many goals of his career in football. He also has a graduation degree from Lowa State University, behind his resume. We can say, Ellis Hobbs is no stranger to pressure. On the football field, he’s widely regarded as a diligent worker with heart. Not a big guy, but a guy who gets the job done. “Not finishing” never enter in his mind. He always has a game plan which never last.
